Interconnectivity and Interdependency, Oh My!

When you think about it, interconnectivity is mind-boggling.  Consider, for instance all the people who were involved in getting you your breakfast... there is our beautiful Mother Earth to begin with, the farmer, the transforming entity, the transporter, the distributor, and finally the store where your breakfast was sold.  Makes you feel like royalty, doesn't it, to consider all these people who took part in making sure you got your breakfast!
It is interesting to contemplate how incredibly interlinked we really are with each other, despite what we may think!

This interconnectivity or interdependency is really rather omnipresent in our lives.  For instance, we find this in our own bodies, in that each organ and function relies on other organs and functions to work as well... obviously such links of interdependency also exist between countries, businesses, and all sorts of systems...

But all these systems, when you think about it, need the individual to make it work.  OK, if you decide to boycott a product or business, this one move may not necessarily make a big difference, but it will have an impact.  The same way that smoking one cigarette may not give you cancer, but it will do something to your body.

So let's go back to number 1, that's you.  If you are solidly grounded and free from toxins that could have adverse effects on your way of thinking and acting, you are going to be more prone to not only make better decisions, but your connections with others are more likely to be healthier as well.

There is an incredible book out that offers a little procedure for cleaning out backed-up body waste, which in turn will give you back your light and shine if followed correctly, and used regularly.  The name of the book is The Amazing Liver and Gallbladder Flush by Andreas Moritz.  You can see it here:

As we become guardians of our own health, not only will it improve, but we will be able to devote our time and energy to promoting wellness in all the systems with which we are interconnected.

Think about it, as we become healthier, we have more harmonious relationships, make wiser decisions, and the ripple effect becomes far-reaching.  Just like the above example of the farmer.  So many systems rely on this one entity, but it also relies on them.

In the body, as stated above, all systems work together, but the liver is really a major organ.  It filters out toxins and secretes bile to help the body in all its digestive and eliminative processes.  But a liver that is not working optimally cannot do this work as well, and disease and the aging process set in.

Chronic disease can be caused by a liver that is overly congested with gallstones in the liver, which clog the bile ducts, making the production of bile more difficult.  Often the gallbladder too will have these stones.

Ridding the liver bile ducts of theses stones can help you regain strength, youth and your vital energy and health.  Of course, once this operation is done, it would be wise to continue with healthy habits, keep an optimistic mindset, and regularly do such cleansings.  This has the potential, if correctly followed, to add years to your life and to give you stamina you had forgotten you ever had.  Moreover, it puts you in charge of your health.  No other person is worthy of such a great honor.

The interconnectivity is easy to see and feel.  By jumping back into the driver's seat, you take back the power for your life, with all the good this entails!  Excited?

Why not give it try:

MEDITATE!

This YouTube video is instructive.  It tells how only the square root of one percent of the world's population can have healthy affects on the rest... think about that.  This is the logic behind prayer and meditation groups.

Meditation really is a great tool that everyone should use daily.  It has the potential to change all our lives for the better.  What if we took that above equation so to speak, and turned it on ourselves.  We would come up with something like using the square root of 1% of our time to make positive changes in our lives.  Because my feeling is that we have to help ourselves before we can help others.  Make sense?

In that line of thinking, although anyone can meditate anywhere, my friend Kaitlyn offers a very interesting meditation kit on her Vibes Up site.  I have one myself.  I love the crystals that have been infused with her magic formula.  And the third-eye, pineal crystal that has also been treated with her special grounding formula.  It also comes with a tiny little tub of pineal cream and a grounding Earth energy meditation mat!

Like I said before, nobody really needs anything to meditate accept time and quiet.  But this little kit will help you make a beeline to inner peace. Using it is the next best thing to being in the pristine, beautiful outdoors, directly connected to Mother Earth.

Because the one thing we want to make sure we do when we meditate is stay grounded.  All the good we do is through our body.  As long as an idea stays an idea, it cannot help us.  We need to embody the idea and for that we need to stay grounded and bring it into our hearts.  What this little kit really does is help you awaken to your own power with all the good that that promises!  And more than anything, all Kaitlyn's products are fun because they have that element of magic that we have forgotten.
Go ahead, go check it out now!

Watch out world, here you come!

Win-Win

Isn't it exciting to think that there is another way of living that is possible?  It can be overwhelming to think about too.  There is that saying that the square root of 1% of the population can potentially change the world!  It is so easy to be bowled over by the idea of changing the world.  What can we do, we feel helpless...

I do believe there are always little things we can do.  We're not going to make global warming go away in a day but we can do little things that add up.  Recycle, drive less, random acts of kindness.  Because let's face it, if we are feeling good about ourselves, it's obviously going to be easier for us to bloom.

I also think that win-win solutions really have potential to make us feel good all over.  Kaitlyn Keyt has developed refillable personal care products, deodorant, tooth paste, soap, facial cleaner, shampoo and conditioner!  Wowee!  See for yourselves:

The great thing about these products is not only that they are not bad for us or for the Earth, they are also good for both of us!!!  Isn't that just amazing?  We are so used to having to read labels and  to juggle our own needs and desires with Mother Earth's...  But Kaitlyn has given us these products that not only clean us, leave no toxic residue either on our skin or in the Earth.

When the bubbles go down the drain, you can know that Mother Earth is being cleaned and taken of care of in much the way you are!  And believe me, the very thought increases inner love and of course helps us BLOOM!

So go check out Kaitlyn's products and see for yourself.

Eureka!

As within, so without....

Do you know about EFT?  EFT, a.k.a. Emotional Freedom Technique, was developed by a man name Gary Craig.  It is a beautiful way of breaking of energetic blocks and of moving energy through the body.  If we are to bloom, we cannot let ourselves get weighed down by heavy energy.  Our mantra needs to be light, light, light!  Because as within, so without.  In this vein, I am passing on a gift, which I received in my inbox from Dr. Patricia Carrington, an EFT authority par excellence!  I think you will find more ease and flow in your life as you get into practicing this little routine and making it yours.  Enjoy!

According to Dr. Teresa Lynch, each day has its unique characteristics, lessons and gifts.  Greeting the day and night allows us to connect with their unique energy, on a universal plane, creating a ripple of harmony for ourselves and others.  The exercises below will take you only a couple minutes to do each day and night, but will bring profound balance, healing and energy into your life.

If at all possible, do the activities outside.  If this in impossible however, open the window wide to let the morning and night energies in to do their work.

Greeting the day

Step outside, or up to an open window.  Close your eyes and very gently take a couple deep breaths.  Then greet the day in your way.  For instance, you may want to say something like, “Day, I greet you and your unique energies.  I receive your life force into all my systems, and am excited about discovering all your possibilities.”

Now take a few moments, with your eyes closed, to feel if there is some place in your body where you energy or emotions feel stuck.  Bring your attention to this place and repeat, “Soften and flow” several times, until you feel the energy beginning to move. Then bring your attention back to your breath and repeat, “Day, I greet you.  Thank you for your unique lessons today.”

Now, before stepping back into your day, do this little EFT procedure.  (For those new to EFT, gently tap with the finger tips of one hand, the spot mentioned, while repeating the phrase, and then move on to the next spot and its phrase... Begin by hitting your two karate chop points (directly below the little fingers) together repetitively...

Tap-Along for Greeting the Day (by Pat Carrington)

For this tapping experience begin with the Karate Chop Spot.

Karate Chop Spot:  Even if I am not in the best of moods
…or am tense, or anxious,.. or otherwise not  feeling on top of life...
Inner Eyebrow: I choose to greet you, Day, as an entirely new Being.
Outer eye:  I choose to open to your newness.
Under eye: I choose to know that whatever came before, was before.
Under nose:  …Not now.
Under mouth:  Day, you come upon the scene with an entirely fresh energy
Collarbone: You are new and faultless
Under Arm:  I feel your birth
Top of Head:  I feel your freshness
Inner eyebrow:  I greet your "potential"
Outer eye:  ...knowing it has nothing of the past.
Under eye:  I embrace you, Day, with all your new energy.
Under mouth:  I love you.
Collarbone:  Thank you for bringing me all these new possibilities.

Greeting the night
You can do this at night fall or before you go to bed.

Step outside or up to your open window.  Close your eyes and breathe in the night air and then, from your heart say, “Night, I greet you.  Thank you for the day's journey, its lessons and gifts and thank you for your assistance in clearing away energies into your vast abundance.”  Come back to a moment of stillness before getting on with your night activities.

Tap-Along for Greeting the Night
Karate Chop Spot:  I greet you Night and your ability to take away whatever is no longer needed.
Inner eyebrow:  I greet your ability to absorb into your infinite depths all of the day’s possible disruptions,  confusion or moments of distress.
Outer eye:  I feel you drawing all this up and away from me.
Under eye:  …and into your endless self.
Under nose:  I greet your dark skies that have no beginning and no end
Under mouth:  I embrace the energy of the night that wipes away all that came before, in gentle darkness.
Collarbone:  I greet you, Night.
Under arm:  I feel your immense healing
Top of Head:  I absorb your spirit into my own.
Inner eyebrow:  Thank you, Night, for being here with me

Beauty

Look at this beautiful bird.   It doesn't have to do much to be beautiful.  It just is.  Part of blooming is also about tapping your inner beauty, about getting to know and honor it.  Remember when our moms used to tell us when we were little, “Pretty is as pretty does.”  Well, I think what they were saying was that our outside appearances reflected our inner disposition.  Haven't you ever noticed how a piece of clothing can make you either feel very attractive, or on the contrary, very demagnetized?  Beauty is a feeling; a good feeling!

There are many ways to tap our inner beauty.  Looking at beautiful paintings, or landscapes, for instance.  Back in the days of Antique Greece, when Greek women were pregnant, they were surrounded by beauty - wall hangings and ornaments to ensure the beauty of the unborn child.  Just looking at this bird raises our vibrations.  And that is basically what beauty does.  It increases our joy with all the good that entails!

Another way to tap inner beauty would be to do something that makes you feel beautiful like have your hair done, or get a manicure, take a spa day, buy a new piece of clothing, or wear a Vibes Up piece of gem jewelry like the Earth Aura Pendant that you can see here:

This little beauty from Mother Earth does wonders for strengthening and clearing our aura field, which just helps us bloom and tap our own inner magic and beauty.

We often think we need something from the outside, but the fact is we do not.  We have all we need within.  That is why I love Vibes Up products, because they bring us energy that helps us tap our own, something like taking a vitamin.  The vitamin acts like a catalyst for various processes in the body, in the same way Vibes Up products catalyze our energy system.

Walking in nature, being around flowers, arranging flowers, creating something, even a lovely meal for family or friends, putting order in our work or living space are all ways to tap our inner sense of beauty in order to bring us boundless joy, which in turn will raise our vibrations and those around us.  Let your senses be you your guide... they will tell you, “You are beautiful!”

Hurry Down!

What is it about hurrying that is so toxic?  Here I found myself with an unexpected free day and I felt myself immediately tense up as a whole list of things to do began competing for my attention!  Woe, woe, I said internally.  I was now unexpectedly exhausted.  But I decided to take a look at "hurry" and tried to analyze the baggage it came with.

Basically, being in a hurry implies we don't have enough time, so comes from a place of lack, which stems from fear.  It is a little like walking in front of ourselves, ahead of ourselves.  I have noted that when I walk hurriedly the upper part of my body leans forward while my legs are trying to "catch up."  Sounds hilarious, doesn't it? Yet, I realize I become completely uncentered and out of alignment.  Woe girl, I want to say, come back.  Come back to a place of peace and poise from which so much is possible.  That is, when we are aligned with our field of possibility.

There are a few ways that I know of to get re-aligned with this so important part of ourselves... The first one that comes to mind is through meditation.  But we cannot meditate on the street.  Still, if we meditate each morning, we will find our needs to hurry decrease exponentially.

Another way to align would be through breathing.  This is something we can access immediately.  Often when we hurry, we unconsciously hold our breath to make us go faster!  Another way would be Vibes Up Divine Soles!

My feeling is that by using these, we probably wouldn't be rushing to begin with as they help us stay incredibly grounded by linking us to the energy of Mother Earth.  I know it sounds like magic, and it is.  Once you try these, you will want one for every pair of shoes you have, or you will be moving them around a lot.

Yet another way would be to walk barefoot on Mother Earth.  This is a great way to recharge ourselves with new, fresh and good energy while "dumping" old, toxic energy.  Don't worry, Mother Earth has the ability to transform it.  The aforementioned soles are great when we don't have the luxury of grass or nature around us.  I have a pair in my office that I stand on when I need an energy boost or when I have had a particularly trying phone call, etc.  Be sure to check out the Divine Soles below. They have lots of other amazing properties as well!

Because Life is too full of riches to hurry through it!  When we hurry, we often miss the priceless little nuggets.

A Kiss for Mother Earth

This is a kiss for Mother Earth.  I made it inspired by my 14 secrets art group.  Before I had always created mandalas on paper with colors and pens and inks.  Although it was entertaining, I really flew while creating this one... I walked through my garden being guided to pick pieces to include...

At first I thought it would be all flowers... but no, flowers were too large... the middle flower, incidentally is a pink dahlia with a wild rose bloom on top and on top of that is a rose shaped crystal, very rare; all about love.  This kind of symbolizes the many layers in Mother Earth but ALSO in us!

Red currants (an augury for new opportunities) come out from the center, black currents and white flowers form a circle around the heart... perhaps these symbolize the balance of light and dark... Shamanic cultures teach that both are equally present and valuable and therefore should not cause us to overly react; white lavender brings an original touch of healing and purity to the inside perimeter, with purple blossoms for spirit and faith.

The calendula petals and wild daisies sprinkle their light and good humor around, while honeysuckle flowers and leaves and little white pom-poms add a delightful scent and illustrate patterns of perfection.  Blades of grass are there to remind us of our own innate healing properties.  You know how they get cut and then grow back... We also have great self-healing potential within us!

The crystals each bring an energy of their own as well as a color vibration.  I somehow wanted to include the sound or music in this.  As I was sprinkling the seeds around from their packets, it sounded like a shaman's drum.  So listen carefully, you might here this ;)

The seeds remind of us of the numerous possibilites that lie within us; their color together brings a groundedness to the mandala. I feel deep gratitude in my heart when I look at this AND it has helped me dispell a certain funk.  So if you are in a sort of funk or just wanting to get creative, I invite you to ask your fairies and guides and inner child to come play with you and see what you come up with! In joy!

More good vibrations

Contact with mother Earth is the most wonderful of energy sources for us as it enables us to not only raise our vibrations but also to clear out old, stuck energy. This is done through an electric-magnetic exchange. The Earth takes away our excess positive ions in exchange for her negative ions. This can help us in all areas of health and wellbeing! It is an ideal way to recharge ourselves, AND the best form of preventative medicine around. Spend just 10 to 20 minutes daily in direct contact with Mother Earth's energy, that means either sitting or standing directly on the ground, without shoes or any material that could block the energy flow (a blanket is ok.) In the winter, when it is too cold to walk barefoot, sit on rocks and tree stumps or walk with shoes that do not have rubber or plastic soles that insulate your body and block this empowering exchange. Look for leather shoe soles and shoes being made from new technology that do not inhibit this healthy exchange.

My friend, Kaitlyn Keyt has such a great connection to nature that she has invented some very high vibrational products to further enhance and balance your own energy reserves and increase pleasure and joy in your life. She sells shoe soles that have been made with elements from the Earth and that provide this healthy exchange. I keep mine by my desk and regularly stand on them for several minutes at a time. I love all her products.

Remember, the law of attraction always draws to us more of what we already have. Therefore the higher our vibrations, the greater the vibrations we will continue to attract to us. So check in regularly throughout the day to make sure your energy is vibrating as high as it can. And when you are feeling low, listen to some upbeat music, dance, go for a walk, talk to flowers, take in several deep, slow breaths and reconnect with your higher self...  so that you continue to bloom on your path to full selfhood!

Keeping vibrations high...

In order to bloom, we need to keep our vibrations up.  This furthers growth, where as problems, worry and fear lower our vibrations, shorten our lives and can make us sick.  Worse, they will not enable us to bloom.
So we need to work on keeping our vibrations up.  Joseph  Campbell wrote: When you follow your bliss... doors will open where you would not have thought there would be doors; and where there wouldn't have been a door for anyone else.  Bliss keeps us in a state of good vibrations.  So anything that brings us bliss: walking, dancing, singing, listening to music, playing music... will also serve to raise our vibrations.
One of the easiest ways to raise our own vibrations is to use our own voice by singing and/or dancing with high vibration music that abounds.
How does this work?
It is simply using the law of attraction.  When our vibrations are high and joy-based, we attract other things to us with similar vibrations.  When we are sad and operating from a lower vibration, we attract this type of situation to us.  Quick, put on the music!  See the links below.

Ground; get fully in your body

Another aspect of blooming is being fully grounded.  For if we are not fully grounded, how in the heck can we grow and evolve into the magnificent beings we are?

Think of a flower.  It gets planted from a seed.  The seed must break through the soil in order to begin to grow.  If there is no resistance, the seed will not break open.  So the ground has to resist a bit.  (So if you are going through hard times, know they are temporary.)  It also helps that the ground be slightly packed, but fertile and aired.  Flowers and plants love compost.  We can make wonderful compost for our souls by recycling our thoughts and life events.  When something not too agreeable comes our way, instead of letting it pollute our lives, and affect us negatively, we just need to throw it in  the compost pit to extract the good, and then it will make perfect growing substrate for us.  In other words, don't focus on what you don't like/want.

Now let's say we have a growing healthy plant... but we decide to weed our garden.  Sometimes we get the tools out to uproot the weeds more completely.  That could upset our plant roots as well.  For the roots need to go into the ground deep, deep, deep.  If they stay on the surface, the plant will dry up and wither with the first sign of dry weather, or wind.  So it is important that we properly plant the seed from the beginning and encourage its root growth in the soil.

We are the same way.  We need to be fully rooted, but more, we need to be fully in our bodies.  In the age of information, we live vicariously in our heads. This can keep us in flight or fight, in a reactive state, whereas being grounded and in our bodies, we will act from our centers instead of being pulled off our centers.

I have found a little system that works quite well for grounding, and pulling me into my body.  It is something I highly recommend to everyone.  Moreover, it can be found, with several other tools on the DVD, The Ultimate Answer is Inside, which was made by a man whose name is Joshua Bloom.  How could it not be conducive to blooming I ask?  There are many other energy healers on the DVD as well.  It is like having your private team of energy healers and coaches! It will take you through a story and teach you a variety of energy healing and quantum techniques which, when mastered, will help you stay on top of the events in your life instead of feeling at their mercy.  This will in turn keep you in your body where your power is.  And your good vibrations will move out from you and positively affect those around you.

Blooming is a process.  Sometimes we have to unlearn processes that we have learned and other times we need to learn new processes.  This DVD makes a great addition to anyone intent on blooming and becoming the magnificent being they are:

You can read more about Joshua here:

In the end, we all do have what we need within us.  This DVD just helps us, like the angels, learn to tap it.  Are you ready to discover what possibilities lie within?  I wonder.

The Occult Law of Indifference

I like the sound of this: The occult law of indifference.  It is quite essential in our blooming process.  I think flowers have this naturally.  You see them just opening themselves up to receive.  They exhibit their beauty without showing any signs of being self-conscious.  If the winds come along and shake them, or if the rain pours down on them, they do not act threatened or afraid, or miffed.  At least, they do not show it.  They continue to smile and to be beautiful.  They are not afraid of the dark, although they do sometimes close up at night to stay warm.  They are not put off by sharing their nectar with the birds and the bees...

And so we may want to take a lesson from them.  Imagine we play flowers today.  Let's just open ourselves up to receive, let's just exhibit our true beauty to everyone around us and offer our high vibrations to all.  And going a step further, when winds blow in and threaten to disturb our calm, or crows come by and caw, caw, caw at us, or when some other person or phenomenon threatens our peace, let's call on the occult law of indifference and say, None of this bothers me, none of this moves me...  It is a very trusty trick to wave over a situation.  I learned it from one of my favorite metaphysicians, Florence Scovel Shinn.  It completely goes along with the saying, "Energy flows where our attention goes."

Flowers have innate beauty.  But I don't think they can think.  We can think.  That is what makes us different from them.  But let's let our thinking lead us to the light, not take us away from it.  When we withdraw our attention from a disturbance, the disturbance can no longer exist.  It will literally dry up, enabling us to continue to bloom.

If you don't already have it, get one of Florence's books, or the entire book of Wisdom that contains all four books.  They are magical!

Ask the Angels

The Journey

One day you finally knew
what you had to do, and began,
though the voices around you
kept shouting
their bad advice -
though the whole house
began to tremble
and you felt the old tug
at your ankles.
"Mend my life!"
each voice cried.
But you didn't stop.
You knew what you had to do,
though the wind pried
with its stiff fingers
at the very foundations,
though their melancholy
was terrible.
It was already late
enough, and a wild night,
and the road full of fallen
branches and stones.
But little by little,
as you left their voices behind,
the stars began to burn
through the sheets of clouds,
and there was a new voice
which you slowly
recognized as your own,
that kept you company
as you strode deeper and deeper
into the world,
determined to do the only thing you could do -
determined to save
the only life that you could save.

~Mary Oliver

I am so moved by this poem, everytime I read it. Mary Oliver has a such a knack for echoing our thoughts, the voices in our hearts. What a great poem to illustrate blooming!  At one point in our lives, we have to stop listening to the voices on the outside and heed the voice within.  That is when we begin to go from being a bud to blooming into a real flower.

It means instead of letting outside authority direct our lives, we begin developing our own authority. We are so taught and conditioned to rely on the outside for what we need. But we already have everything we need, we just need to 1) realize that this is the truth, 2) believe this to be the truth, and 3) begin acting and living as if this were the truth.

Discover how the angels can help...

This is the real paradigm shift.  In order to really bloom, we need to align with who we really are.  Not the person our parents think we are, or our teachers, or our friends.  But the person we are deep within. We need to become our own authority and no longer rely on outside authority to tell us if something is good for us or not.

It can be a little scary at first, as it means stepping out of the box.  Even though we may feel comfortable in the box.  We need to learn to take baby steps.  A very fun way to do this is by learning to communicate with angels.

What do I mean by angels?  The angels are our lofty (non-egocentric) thoughts (hence the wings).  They represent a loving, caring energy within us that pushes us forward, that warns us when we need it, that helps us find lost items, that helps us heal when we need it, that gives us advice when we need it...  This presence keeps us aligned with our highest good.  It is really one of Life's greatest gifts!

Go here to read more about how you can learn more...

Connecting with the angels is a sure fire way to bloom!  Our angels have always been within us.  But we sometimes loose touch with them through conditioning, through over-analyzing or over-rationalizing things, through being too loud or overly fearful and negative. The quickest path to the good we want, is by connecting to our angels, our intuition for here we have a treasure of astonishing resources; resources we never knew we had.

Oh it won't all come over night - although it could.  Developing that muscle and learning to trust it is a learning process; but highly enjoyable and enriching.  Learning to heed the counsel of your angels promises profound transformation.  And everyone around you benefits! Look how Mary Oliver artfully describes this angelic presence that encourages us to break away from old ways of doing, being and seeing, ... and there was a new voice which you slowly recognized as your own, that kept you company as you strode deeper and deeper into the world...  Yes, definitely the work of angels!

Convinced?  I hope so.  Check out this link for more information on how you can become more familiar with this awesome presence and power you have within you.  I highly recommend all products, but the angel communication specialist class is  ideal for better developing that special connection.

It's Easier than we think...

Sometimes I think I try to do too much. Wouldn't it be nice just to be?  What would that entail? We want so much.  And yet we have so much. There has to be some trick. Something I do not know. Something that will make it all easy.  Someone said that life was a play. Was it Shakespeare? And we are all actors. In that respect, I take it we are all acting.  I think we need to relearn what we have forgotten. Just take in a deep breath.  I can understand yogis who retreat from the world to try to understand it. We are all here to grasp and understand how we relate to the whole. And I do think it is supposed to be enjoyable and light.  I think that is the direction we are going.  We have let ourselves be influenced by so much.

And yet I think we do need to take on some influence. Just not too much.  A dab of this and a dab of that...   We sometimes understand things better through the eyes of someone else.  And other times, others understand things through our own perspective.  But there is a thread of universalness that links us all to each other.  In that respect, we are all at the same time universal and unique.  The universal part of us wants and is linked to all others and the unique part of us is what we have to give or teach others.  We all have it regardless.  It is our own creativity, our desire to express what it is that is within us that we want to offer others.  Not everyone will resonate with it. But some will.

So there is no need to compete.  No need to judge.  Accept that it is all good.  Accept that everything and everyone has a gift for us, something to teach us, a little jewel of wisdom to share, an insight that will help us grow, enrich us...  We live in a magical universe where we are all gods.  The sooner we accept this role, the sooner we will live a life of ease and grace. We are mistaken, it is not about being difficult. The difficulty resides in the fact that it is so simple and easy.  And we complicate matters by thinking it difficult.
